Designed to cope with exacting standards required by modern pilots, this glove offers high levels of comfort and dexterity and is seam sealed to ensure hands remain dry even when submerged in water.
Designed to cope with the exacting standards required by modern pilots, this glove offers high levels of comfort and dexterity and is worn by fighter pilots flying sorties over water. Made from a top grade cape sheep nappa leather processed in the UK and supplied by Pittards, this leather not only has water and sweat resistant properties but through the use of Pittards Armortan® is more resistance to abrasion thus increasing the durability and longevity of the leather by preventing wear on contact surfaces. The glove is table cut in the traditional manner. All sewn seams are individually sealed and a close fitting rubber seal is fixed to the inside of the glove at the cuff to ensure that wearers' hands remain dry even when submerged in water. It is supplied in a wide range of sizes to accomodate all hand sizes.
100% Water and Sweat Resistant sheep nappa leather
Usually one hand will be slightly larger than the other, typically the dominant hand (the right hand if you are right handed). Using a tape measure, wrap the tape around the dominant hand at the widest part (between your thumb and index finger) and make a loose fist. Make a note of this measurement and check our sizing guide below.
