Delivery
We pride ourselves on our quick delivery. Gloves are normally despatched on the day of order (excludes weekends as we are closed) up to 1PM Monday to Thursday and up to 11AM on Friday. They are sent by Royal Mail. During busy times of the year this may slightly extended.
DELIVERY CHARGES PER ORDER
- FREE UK delivery on ALL orders with a value of £75.00 or more
- UK Standard Delivery (approx 2 - 3 days), Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For £5.00
- UK Next Day Delivery, Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed £7.50 ( for orders placed before 1pm Mon-Thur/ 11am Fri) Royal Mail do not guarantee this during the current strikes and delivery times may vary
- UK Next Day Delivery on a Saturday, Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed on a Saturday £12.00
- Worldwide Delivery (approx 3 - 14 days), Royal Mail Airsure International Signed For £15.00
Please be aware that international orders may incur additional handling, import or local tax charges as your order passes through customs. Any additional charges on shipments are the customer's responsibility and we recommend reviewing these with your local customs departments prior to ordering. Unfortunatey we are unable to re-imburse customers any additional fees incurred after an order has been shipped.
In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt.
If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier.
- When are the Royal Mail strikes? - 24th, 25th & 30th November 2022, 1st, 9th & 11th 14th, 15th, 23rd, 24th December 2022
- How will the strikes affect my order? - If your parcel is in the postal network or due to enter the postal network on or around the strike days listed, there will be no new updates on your parcel tracking and it will not move through the network on these days. Between the strike dates shown above, it is likely that your parcel will move very slowly through the network as Royal Mail manage any backlogs of mail. You may notice that your parcel does not update for a few days after each strike date. Please do not worry, just keep checking your tracking. If your parcel is dispatched and is not showing on the Royal Mail tracking site, please do not worry. Along with the delivery strikes, Royal Mail will also not be collecting parcels. It may take them a while to catch up after strike dates so please do allow for this.
- How long will my order be delayed? - The simple answer is we don’t know. We would recommend you keep checking on your parcel tracking. If your tracking stops and doesn’t update for 14 days, please contact our Customers Services team on sales@southcombe.com.
- Will there be more strike dates? - We don’t know at the moment. The dates are set, but this doesn’t mean that more dates won’t be added or removed. We will of course keep you up to date with any changes if you have an active order with us.
- How will I know if my parcel is affected? - If you have placed your order close to any of the dates shown above, your order will likely be affected. Through November and December, we are expecting the affects of the strikes to carry on even away from the strike dates as Royal Mail manage any backlogs of mail.
- How long should I allow before contacting Southcombe about my parcel? - If your parcel is caught in these delays, our Customer Services team can’t do anything to hurry your parcel up. We also can’t cancel your order. If your tracking stops and doesn’t update for 14 days, please contact our Customers Services team on sales@southcombe.com
