A multi-purpose, high performance protective glove; the Firemaster Vortex is used when protection from mechanical risks as well as contact heat risks is paramount. Made from advanced materials with modern design, it has a hard-wearing palm and close fitting back ensuring that the glove is well proportioned to the hand without swamping it with layers of fabric. Fully waterproof with a moisture vapor permeable membrane permanently secured between the outer layer and lining, Firemaster Vortex is a fully synthetic glove that has been tested and officially certified as a machine washable glove at 40 degrees centigrade on five separate wash cycles. It provides the highest levels of protection against mechanical risks including impact as well as protection against contact heat up to 250 degrees centigrade. Independently tested and certified to EN420:2003 + A1:2009, EN388:2016 + A1:2018 and EN407:2004, Firemaster Vortex carries both UKCA and CE marks as a Category II PPE item.

Usually one hand will be slightly larger than the other, typically the dominant hand (the right hand if you are right handed). Using a tape measure, wrap the tape around the dominant hand at the widest part (between your thumb and index finger) and make a loose fist.
